Goodall-Witcher Hospital, Lutheran Sunset Ministries, Bosque County Emergency Management conduct drill

It all felt and sounded so real that early morning. From the severe thunderstorm watch at 8:45 to the subsequent tornado warning and finally the disaster situation – a tornado hit.

There were walkie-talkies squelching, cell phone messages chiming and phones ringing as the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department men, in full bumper gear gathered to speak to Bosque County Emergency Management Coordinator Tim Jeske at a Goodall-Witcher conference room Nov. 8. Dispatchers were heard calling in North Bosque Emergency Medical Services and mutual aid of other fire departments was called.
