Good turnout for CTYF validation

Turnout was good for the validation of swine, goats, and lambs ahead of the Central Texas Youth Fair’s Bosque County Livestock Show and Home Economics Show this summer.

About 60 pigs, 45 goats, and 30 lambs were validated on Tuesday, April 3, at the fair grounds in Clifton.

The number of show animals entered into the annual junior livestock show could possibly be higher because not included in the totals were animals validated through the state for other shows in the season, Brian Prescher, CTYF board president said.
