Igniting education

Volunteers with the Iredell Volunteer Fire Department visit with Iredell ISD students during Fire Prevention Week held earlier this month as part of National Fire Prevention and Safety Month. Students got to explore the department’s fire trucks, try on the firefighters’ safety gear and learned what to do in the event of a house fire.
