healthcare Clifton Independent School District and Goodall-Witcher Healthcare will present the 3rd Annual Mental Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The fair will run from 8:45 a.m.

Registration is now open for a Mental Health First Aid workshop scheduled for Friday, May 3, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clifton. From 9 a.m.

Bosque Election Integrity (BEI) will host a summit about election integrity at the Clifton Civic Center at 403 West Third Street in Clifton. Representatives from Gillespie County, Texas, will be on hand to discuss their recent Republican Party primary election that utilized hand-counted paper ballots.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office has partnered with nearby counties to host two upcoming programs for agricultural producers and horticulturalist. On Thursday, April 11, 2024, a Pecan Field Day will be held at Russell’s Pecan Orchard, located at 12633 Gholson Road outside of Waco.

The Clifton Civic Improvement Society and the Nellie Pederson Library initiated a partnership program to bring early literacy to Clifton’s youngest citizens—its babies! TheBooksforInfantsandToddlers(BIT) Program began in 2020, and each year the Clifton Civic organization purchases books and prepares approximately 60-70 book bundles. The partnership provides carefully selected early developmental books for babies born in Clifton’s Goodall-Witcher Hospital.
