Bosque Election Integrity (BEI) will host a summit about election integrity at the Clifton Civic Center at 403 West Third Street in Clifton. Representatives from Gillespie County, Texas, will be on hand to discuss their recent Republican Party primary election that utilized hand-counted paper ballots.

Two upcoming programs for Bosque agriculture producers

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office has partnered with nearby counties to host two upcoming programs for agricultural producers and horticulturalist. On Thursday, April 11, 2024, a Pecan Field Day will be held at Russell’s Pecan Orchard, located at 12633 Gholson Road outside of Waco.

Clifton civic society, library present ‘books for babies’ to Goodall-Witcher

The Clifton Civic Improvement Society and the Nellie Pederson Library initiated a partnership program to bring early literacy to Clifton’s youngest citizens—its babies! TheBooksforInfantsandToddlers(BIT) Program began in 2020, and each year the Clifton Civic organization purchases books and prepares approximately 60-70 book bundles. The partnership provides carefully selected early developmental books for babies born in Clifton’s Goodall-Witcher Hospital.
