The Bosque Democratic Club will host a forum for candidates running for public office in Bosque County on Thursday, April 20, at the Clifton Civic Center. All members of the public are welcome and are invited to attend.
A group of disabled combat veterans from 2nd Battalion 4th Marines will gather over Memorial Day weekend in Bosque County. The annual reunion will be a time of healing among the participants that includes the honoring of their fellow Marines who perished during and after their deployment in Iraq.

This spring, the Bosque Democratic Club joined the Texas Department of Transportation’s Adopt-AHighway program. About eight club members volunteered in their first trash pick-up on Saturday, April 1, at the start of the annual Don’t mess with Texas Trash-Off.
