Mondays weekly 11:30 a.m. – Bosque County Senior Services / Meals on Wheels Program serves meals to seniors aged 60 and up on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Family Life Center at 300 North Main Street in Meridian.

That is Norwegian for “tremendous success.” The guests came from as far away as Norway and Germany. They came from Ohio and Oklahoma as well as 14 cities and towns across Texas. And they came from Bosque County and all the surrounding counties.

Mondays Weekly 7 p.m. – Boy Scouts Troop #376 meets every Monday at the Cub Scout Hut located at 215 West 9th Street in Clifton.

Hundreds and hundreds of families turned out to trick-or-treat in historic downtown Clifton this year. The 28th annual event featured dozens of local businesses, non-profits, and civic groups distributing candy to folks of all ages on Halloween evening, October 31.

The Texas Transportation Commission recently approved the FY 2024 Routine Airport Maintenance Program (RAMP), as proposed by the City of Clifton. The new RAMP grant will be increased to $100,000 while the local match will be reduced to 10 percent.
