On January 31, 2022, Bosque County Commissioners called a regular session meeting to order. During announcements and comments Sarah Ballard spoke on behalf of the senior citizens of Bosque County.

According to the Bosque County Office of Emergency Management, the National Weather Service is telling residents to prepare for the possibility of a significant winter storm event beginning late Wednesday evening and continuing through the end of the week.

Positive COVID-19 cases have dropped significantly over the past seven days as daily testing continues at Goodall-Witcher Healthcare. Over the last seven days, GWH has seen a 28.0% positive rate among those tested for COVID-19, compared to a 49.5% positive rate over the previous seven reporting days.
