The Bosque County Genealogical Society is conducting a preservation project at the Chase Cemetery in the Womack community on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The minutes for the March 9, 2021 and March 30, 2021 meetings of the Clifton City Council were approved. During the Public Comment section, Brent Grelle gave an update on the disc golf course.

Aubrey and Virginia Richards were honored with the Spieler Lifetime Achievement Award at the Bosque Arts Center’s Big Event on Saturday, April 10. Given to individuals who have gone above and beyond in volunteering at the Arts Center over the course of many years, the award is named after the BAC’s founder, Joan Spieler.

The Heart of Texas Human Trafficking Coalition is a program that is made up of service providers, law enforcement and DA offices in a six-county area, including Bosque County. The coalition was set up to bring together professionals from area agencies to work together in the fight against human trafficking.
