Attendees at the BAC’s Big Game Casino Night last Friday enjoyed games like blackjack. On Saturday, the crowd danced to Brian Barrett and Serengeti while others enjoyed each other’s company. The Nellie Pederson Civic Library in Clifton is proud to announce they are now a FamilySearch affiliate library. The library entered into an affiliate library agreement with FamilySearch back in November 2020 and the application was approved on December 29, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and FamilySearch working remotely, it has taken some time to get the library computers set up and ready to use, but the completion of that task was completed in March 2021.

-John Lynn Kolster, of Hamilton, was arrested on March 26 for the assault of a family or household member, previous conviction IAT. -Whitney Autumn Barrington, of Valley Mills, was arrested on March 26 for resisting arrest or transport and public intoxication.

Elizabeth Pannabecker is the chef at Olaf’s in Clifton, and although she is a relatively new face to Bosque County, she has a storied history with the culinary world. Before coming to Clifton, Pannabecker spent time in Navarro County, then McLennan County where she lived and worked for about 11 years.

Wildflowers have bloomed all over the countryside and the wildlife has come to life as spring makes its way into Bosque County. COVID-19 cases are dropping in Bosque County and recoveries continue to outpace new cases. Bosque County Emergency Management Coordinator Chris Anderson told the court the Texas DSHS records show there were only two new cases over the weekend.
