Meridian ISD renews superintendent’s contract

The Meridian ISD school board went into executive session shortly before 8 p.m. Monday night to discuss the future of Superintendent Kim Edwards. This routine exercise on the part of the board resulted in Edwards contract being renewed with a 3% pay raise.

More vaccines are slowing coming to Bosque

Bosque County Emergency Management Coordinator Chris Anderson spoke to the Commissioners Court Tuesday morning about the lack of Covid-19 vaccines in Bosque County. Anderson said on the state Texas DSHS website it said there were four places in Bosque County designated as vaccine distribution centers, Goodall-Witcher, Brookshire Bros Pharmacy, Albrecht’s Pharmacy and Brookshire’s Pharmacy. Some of the distribution centers are offering the opportunity to sign up on a wait list and others are not.

Council greenlights new airport gate

Bosque County Arrest Report

• Michael Blake Green, of Meridian, was arrested on Jan. 8 for the possession of a controlled substance over one gram but under four grams with the intent to deliver, possession of a prohibited substance or item in a correctional or civil commitment facility, and a child support warrant.

Clifton Record looking to honor those lost to COVID-19

School board recognizes Holdbrook
