As COVID-19 vaccines continue to roll out across the county, Bosque County Senior Services Project Director Susan Baker, along with several federal agencies, warns the public about fraudulent schemes emerging related to the vaccines.

Bosque County Emergency Management Coordinator Chris Anderson told commissioners he solved the disconnect regarding reported COVID-19 numbers on the Texas DSHS website. “The active case count from the county and the state is overemphasized by probable cases,” Anderson said Monday.

November 18, 2020- The sun was shining down on Cranfills Gap last Wednesday as the community came together to dedicate the newly erected Veterans Memorial in Wade Lee City Park. Reverend Brian Barrett started the ceremony with prayer and a song about what it means to wear the uniform before inviting the crowd to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

With national shortages induced by Covid-19 buyouts of protective hand-cleaning products, the distillers of alcohol spirits have found a new calling. Many have put their production of gin, brandy, or vodka on hold to meet a more pressing demand for emergency supplies of hand sanitizer.
