After 23 years of service, Linda Thiele recently retired as the administrator of the North Bosque Emergency Medical Service. The directors of the Emergency Services District #1 and the North Bosque EMS and the EMS staff wished her a fond retirement with a surprise party on Wednesday, November 15.

TxDOT crews begin project restoring Hwy 144's surface

Crews started a surfacing and roadway restoration project on Highway 144 in Bosque County on Monday, December 18. Crews will perform mill and overlay operations on Highway 144 from FM 203 in Walnut Springs to the Somervell County line.
