Total nonfarm employment increased by 31,100 positions over the month to reach a 21st consecutive series-high level at 13,944,600 jobs and achieved 28 consecutive months of growth.

City council approves emergency funds for CVFD equipment

The Clifton City Council approved granting emergency funds to the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department for special equipment during its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 8. Three representatives from the Clifton VFD gave a presentation on the equipment that will assist the volunteers in breathing while extracting people from structure and vehicle fires in the community.
