On Tuesday, April 19 the Lady Jackets defeated Jonesboro 11-6 thanks to a strong start. The Lady Jackets started with a score on a stolen base by Canyon Stauffer, a groundout by Eve Dirske overall bringing in four runs in the first.

The Tuesday, April 19th game against Lorena was a heartbreaker for the Lady Cubs as they lost the lead late in a 6-5 defeat. Lorena got on the board in the first inning with a single on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

On Tuesday Lorena got things moving in the first inning with a double on a 3-1 count, scoring one run. The Cubs tied things up at two when Jackson Newton doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

On Friday, April 15, the Lady Jackets fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 12-2 loss to the Rio Vista Lady Eagles on Friday. The Lady Eagles scored on a double and a single in the first inning, which set the pace for the game.

The Cubs fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-0 loss to West on Wednesday April 13. West took the lead on a single in the first inning which was the beginning of a shut-out game.

The Cubs took a late lead and defeated Maypearl 7-6 on Saturday, April 9. The game was tied at six with the Cubs batting in the top of the seventh when Tristin Smith singled on a 2-2 count and scored a run.

Sydney Fullerton placed second and Sara Slater placed fifth in the varsity girls 100-meter dash. District Champion Ava Anderson placed first and Sara Slater placed sixth in the varsity girls 200-meter dash.

On Tuesday, March 29 the Yellowjackets fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 13-4 loss to Bruceville-Eddy. Bruceville-Eddy scored on a triple and a single in the first inning, which set the pace for the game.
