Blood pressure spikes

I experienced a blood pressure spike a couple of months ago. A little pill given in the ER lowered it, and the episode was over like it never happened. Did you know that BP’s controlled by the kidneys and not the heart? Weird, huh? I haven’t regularly taken anything to lower blood pressure recently because I haven’t needed it.
