GWH sees significant drop in COVID-positive cases

Positive COVID-19 cases have dropped significantly over the past seven days as daily testing continues at Goodall-Witcher Healthcare.

Over the last seven days, GWH has seen a 28.0% positive rate among those tested for COVID-19, compared to a 49.5% positive rate over the previous seven reporting days.

Between Jan. 25 and Jan. 31 GWH tested 250 individuals; 180 tests came back negative while 70 were positive for COVID-19. Fifty-three of those positive were Bosque County residents while 17 were non-residents.

According to a spokesperson for GWH, there are currently two hospitalizations due to COVID-19.
