Clifton ISD put on a service awards and retirement ceremony for its staff members at the Performing Arts Center Monday.
The awards ceremony was not held last year because of COVID-19, but retirees and service awards from the 2019-2020 school year were recognized during this year’s ceremony.
2019-2020 retirees were Rita Huie with four years, Dicque New with 23 years, Debbie Norris with 15 years and Denean Sturgeon with 15 years. 2020-2021 retirees were Amy Green with 22 years, Danny Patterson with 13 years and Hilda Picon with 22 years.
Those recognized for five years of service for 2019- 2020 were Brenda Andrews, Erin Baker, Brittany Boykin, Fatima Cathcart, Laura Christensen, Tina Covey, Michael Kusler, Ruth Pieri and Mario Villalpando.
Those recognized for five years of service for 2020- 2021 include Kim Benfer, Robin Blakenry, Cheryl Burris, Dustin Frederick, Betty Gardner, Ninfa Gomez and Logan Scott.
Those with 10 years of service in 2019-2020 were Joe Adcock, Cindy Anderson and Don Olson (11 years).
Those recognized for 10 years of service in 2020- 2021 include Andy Ball, Cinthyay Fernandez and Tina Rogers.
Those with 15 years of service in 2019-2020 were Laura Cosper and Jerry Lee and Regina Necessary celebrated 15 years in 2020- 2021.
Lori Culp celebrated 20 years of service in 2019-2020 and Carolyn Billington, Dee Pickett, Kara Ripley and Blanca Soto celebrated 20 years in 2020-2021.
Those with 25 years of service in 2019-2020 were Kristie Brandenberger, Lori Powers and Tracy Vandiver.
Those with 25 years of service in 2020-2021 include Vikki Moore and Angie Zuehlke.
