Members of the Meridian Parks and Rec., along with a host of volunteers, have been hard at work for the past several months preparing for their firstever Chisholm Chili Cookoff, happening June 25-26 at Bosque Bottoms, Meridian Park and Lions Park in Meridian.
The two-day event will offer everything from food and drink contests to music, a movie and lawn sports tournaments.
