After a public hearing on the 2022 ad valorem tax rate and 2022-23 budget, Meridian City Council approved both ordinances.
The city is keeping the tax rate at 50 cents and expects property values to bring in more revenue.
Though the budget reflects the anticipated revenue, it also takes into consideration over $300,000 received in grants last year.
