Civic society reports turkey dinner success

Hundreds of folks took advantage of the cooler weather to partake in the Clifton Civic Improvement Society’s annual turkey dinner on Thursday afternoon, November 2.
Bertha Waller, chairperson of the dinner committee, reported that all 450 tickets to the dinner had sold out.
“It was very successful this year,” she said. “We greatly appreciate the community supporting us.”
