The legendary jazz trumpet player Louis Armstrong once said, “Man, all music is folk music.You ain’t never heard no horse sing a song, have you?”
We can’t say that we have. However, last Saturday night in Meridian, an audience of 25 people at the Lomax Gathering heard songs that could make any creature laugh, cry, or take pause on the trail of life’s wonders.
