On Saturday Jan. 29 Meridian came out to support the Meridian Assistant Fire Chief Michael Walker as he recovers from COVID-19. Walker collapsed from COVID-19 while in the hospital waiting for his wife to undergo surgery. Walker was immediately hospitalized and placed on life support for 23 days.
