Early Monday morning Bosque County Judge Cindy Vanlandingham signed a declaration of disaster due to drought.
She, along with other officials, determined the county had been affected by ‘extreme to exceptional drought conditions’, and wildfires continued to be a threat to lives and property because of the abundant fuel and dry and windy conditions.
