Local resident and Meridian EDC board member Fred Worthey recently bought the property formerly known as Bowman’s Tire and came before the EDC last Thursday to ask for help cleaning old tires off the approximately seven acres of property.
Worthey said there were currently more than 4,000 tires on the property stored by the previous owner posing a huge fire threat that could burn for days on end…
