Dirk Edward Lindley, 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at his home surrounded by his children.  He fought a valiant and brave battle with cancer.  Memorial services will be Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Clifton Church of Christ in Clifton.  Burial will follow at Clifton Memorial Park Cemetery on FM 1991.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, 12:00-2:00 p.m., in the fellowship hall at the church.

Dirk was born in Hico on August 7, 1962.  He lived in Iredell and Tolar and grew up in Clifton, where he attended school and graduated in 1980.  After graduation, he attended Abilene Christian University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.  After graduation, Dirk moved to Waco (a town he always loved) and worked as a pharmacist including jobs at the VA, HEB, Walmart, CVS, Texas Oncology and Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center.  He loved his job and especially the people he worked with.

Survivors include his parents Charles and Anna Marie Lindley; brother Don Lindley and wife Kim; son Bryce and wife Sarah; daughter Brooke, and grandchildren Reece and Charley Kate Apperson and Harper Ann Lindley.

Pallbearers will be Steve Covington, Steve Williams, Ronnie Freeman, Paul Sulak, Courtney Russell and Megan Hromadka.

Dirk brightened many lives and lived life to the fullest.  We are at peace knowing there is no more pain.  He will be greatly missed by many.
