Peggy Perez

Peggy Perez, age 63, of Clifton, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, in Waco.

Graveside services were held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Restland Cemetery, with Minister Deral McWhorter officiating. The family received visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 31 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville.

Peggy Aline Perez was born on April 27, 1959, in Winnsboro to Beulah Aline Stewart Malden and the late Kenneth Malden. She resided in Clifton since 1980 and worked for Lutheran Sunset Ministries for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, gardening, crafting and helping her sisters with hosting estate sales.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother-in-law, Norman Perez.

Peggy is survived by her partner of 20 years, Gary French; mother, Beulah Aline Malden; sons, Aaron Perez, Samuel French and partner, Melinda Acosta, Daniel French; daughter, Jennifer Perez and partner, Andy French; sisters, Janell Malden and Debbie Buster and husband, Kenneth (Bubba); brother, Danny Malden and wife, Alice; and six grandchildren, Jordan Rodriguez, Lillian French, Aydan French, Gavin French, Taylor French and Madison French.
