Mondays weekly 9 a.m. – The Bosque County Commissioners Court meets in regular session at the Bosque County Courthouse in Meridian weekly.

The twentieth century became the great age for the battleship as navies around the world raced to build the most powerful vessels on the seas. As the United States established itself as a world power, the nation was determined to show the strength of its own navy. As a result, the Battleship USS Texas, designated BB-35, was built as the second vessel named for the state by the US Navy.

The fireworks display in Clifton City Park was nothing short of spectacular Saturday evening as Bosque County residents took a load off with the Sundae Drivers and enjoyed hamburgers from CISD’s Class of 2023. The splendor of the evening came when they sky lit up above Clifton in celebration of the nation’s independence.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays weekly 11 a.m. – A meal program for Bosque County residents 60 and over meets at the Methodist Church Family Life Center in Meridian.

Multi-award-winning country musician Crystal Gayle filled Bosque Arts Center’s Frazier Performance Hall with timeless favorites Friday evening. Though it was Gayle’s first trip to Clifton, she considered herself lucky to be able to see so many beautiful places across the country.
