Bosque hay show set Oct. 16

The 2023 Bosque County Hay Show will be held at the Meridian Civic Center, located at 309 West River Street, in Meridian on Monday, October 16. This year 98 hay bale samples were entered into this year’s contest.

The National Night Out event in Meridian was christened a “huge success” on Tuesday, October 3. Non-profits, small businesses, the school district, and faith groups participated in the inaugural event sponsored by the Meridian Police Department and the City of Meridian.

The hilarious Neil Simon Broadway classic, “Barefoot in the Park,” opened at the Tin Building Theatre over the weekend and audiences loved the nostalgic play that set Simon on his route as the most popular playwright of the 20th century. The local production features a talented cast of stage veterans and newcomers, and plays for two final performances this weekend.
